I Made a Bowl, Part II

Should I be writing my research paper right now? Yes. Am I looking for any possible excuse not to do so? Double yes.
I can’t take all the credit for this one (really, I couldn’t take all the credit for the first one, since I was in a class) because Chip did about half of the lathing, after I got it shaped into a round. Next time I’m going to experiment with some different shapes, but I really like the look of deep walls, and I like to show off the wood as much as possible. This is utterly gorgeous wood that’s pretty easy to work with and relatively cheap, and I will definitely be buying more of it. Also, it’s called padauk, which is fun to say. Padauk, padauk, padauk.
Now shoo! I’m very busy.

When I was in school, I would do ANYTHING to not write a paper, even (shudder) clean!

i’m impressed with your woodworking skills, but then almost anything seems impressive to me after spending almost a week straight in my house since I can’t sit on my ass to drive any where!! help! I’m going stir-crazy!
