Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Apparently the few degrees difference in temperature between here and the ‘Ville are enough to make a pretty big difference. We’ve got about 5 inches of the white stuff on the ground and Kory has already had a snow day and a delayed opening. Lilly likes it well enough, as long as someone is standing outside with her. And Kory built something in the middle of the yard on the first day of snow that was promptly covered up by the second day of snow.
I am happy to report that the city of Beavercreek is a whole heck of a lot better at dealing with this stuff than Louisville is … they got the roads cleared right away and the shelves at Kroger still have milk and bread on them. Apparently this is just a light dusting in these parts.
Hope we can send some of it south for a white Christmas for the niecii, though!

Man, I would LOVE for Jonathan to see snow like that! I think we’ve gotten two flakes so far!

It’s almost all gone already … it was really weird. A few days of crazy snow and now it’s rainy and just plain wet out. I hope Jonathan gets snow for Christmas!
