It’s Official … I have a teenage son

Kory turned 13 on August 4, 2007, with some fanfare. I still can’t believe he’s this old, but I think that’s just because it makes ME feel old. Still, he’s rather cute, no?
My family made the drive up from Louisville, which was fantastic, since they hadn’t seen the house yet. The kids enjoyed the pool, although it may have been a little chilly for the adults …
The adults DID manage to become accustomed enough to the temperature to start a little water-war:

All in all, I’d say it was a success. Chip and I THEN drove down to Louisville to take Kory, Matara, and Autmn all home (the girls were visiting for the week) and then turned around and came back to Dayton, where we slept for 10 hours.
We will now spend a quiet week recovering from having 3 teenagers in the house.

OMG, a teenager. That totally frightens me, but I am happy we have a while still. Kory is such a great kid, though, so I bet you’ll have it easier than most…
